Time Is Power: Prioritize What’s Important
Janice will help you and your clients choose what to focus on when there is so much to do. She will guide us through a step-by-step process of setting priorities in order to be more productive, using her system of Boulders, Barriers, and Building Blocks, and committing (everything!) to your calendar. She will show you that you can’t do it all, but you can accomplish a lot when you prioritize what’s important.
Just Focus and Reorganize, LLC (JFR) has been owned and operated by Janice Rostron since 2015. However, Janice has been organizing the spaces around her for as far back as she can remember--just ask her family, friends, former roommates, and colleagues!
Janice's experience and wide range of interests have given her the ability to create and maintain a balanced lifestyle. She believes that simplicity is the key to success.
Janice has been playing guitar for over 30 years. She has played shows throughout California and has recorded two full-length albums and one EP (during which time she earned the moniker "Janice F'n Reid" a.k.a. "JFR").
Janice received a B.A. in Legal Studies (with a Minor in Music) from UC Berkeley and has since joined the Cal Alumni Association. GO BEARS! She then earned an M.Ed. and a Multiple Subject teaching credential from UCLA. She worked as a public elementary school teacher for 8 years before deciding to pursue a career in Professional Organizing.
While building her organizing business, Janice completed an A.A. in Accounting from Los Angeles City College and has since added Financial Organizing to her list of services and created JFnR Financial.
Janice is an active member of the National Association of Productivity and Organizing Professionals (NAPO). She has earned NAPO Specialist Certificates in Workplace Productivity and Team Productivity. She is a member of NAPO’s Environmentally-Conscious Organizers special interest group. She served as the Los Angeles chapter’s Treasurer for the 2016-2017 term.
Janice is also a subscriber to the Institute of Challenging Disorganization (ICD®) and has received the Level II Chronic Disorganization Specialist® Certificate.
In 2022, Janice moved to Denver to purchase her first home. And while she was growing the business in a new city, she wrote a book and started a publishing company, JFnR Media.
