Let’s put our organizing skills to work for a great cause!
In lieu of our November Table Talk, we’re kicking off GO Month a little early with a special service project supporting one of our community champions, Jenny Gladkowski, and her organization, Foster's Closet.
By day, Jenny is a Farmers Insurance agent. In just about every other moment, she’s a devoted volunteer and community organizer with a big heart for children and families in need. For years, Jenny has collected and distributed children’s clothing, toys, school supplies, and other essentials to foster families, kinship families, and children in need. You may be asking - where does she manage this incredible operation? Right out of her own home!
Jenny runs Foster's Closet as a very local, one-woman operation, managing donations in and out of her personal home. The NAPO Colorado Board would love to help lighten her load in two ways:
1. Join us on November 6 to organize!
We’ll gather at Jenny’s home to sort and organize her garage, creating a more functional space to support the many donations she receives and distributes.

Your commitment: Come for whatever amount of time works with your schedule!

2. Bring a donation to our Holiday Luncheon!
If you can’t join us on November 6, you can still support Foster's Closet. At our upcoming holiday luncheon, please consider bringing children’s winter clothing or toys. We’ll collect these items and deliver them to Jenny to share with the children and families she serves.

As professional organizers, we know firsthand how much a functional space can support the work happening within it. We’re excited to share our time, skills, and resources with Jenny and help her continue the meaningful work she does for foster families, kinship families, and children in need throughout our community.
