In honor of Get Organized & Be Productive (GO) Month, we are excited to partner with one of our new business partners for a group volunteer event. Gracefull Home (previously Furnishing Hope Junk Removal) specializes in collecting excess furniture and housewares, giving these items a new lease on life by repairing, cleaning, and rehoming them to individuals transitioning out of homelessness. This process not only prevents usable items from filling our landfills but also provides those in need with a dignified way to furnish their new homes.
We will be working at their warehouse to sort and organize the donations they have received. They have many boxes in need of opening and sorting, so please bring a box cutter!
While we would love to have your help for the full 6 hours on one or both days, we understand that everyone is busy! Please feel free to participate as your availability permits. If you plan to help for the full day, consider bringing a lunch as food will not be provided at this event.
